TRANSPORTATION TUNNEL TO KANONERSKIY ISLAND UNDER THE FAIRWAY IN SAINT PETERSBURG, RUSSIA
Automobile tunnel crossing to Kanonersky Island under the Sea Canal in the city of Leningrad (Saint Petersburg). The tunnel was constructed via method of segments lowering. During construction period segments were assembled at site and placed to the bottom by floating to initial excavated ditch subsequently.
